TAMIYA X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice for thinning the TAMIYA acrylic paints. The formula is chosen in such a way that the TAMIYA acrylic paints do not fade or become stained after application and drying. Furthermore, the thinner is also suitable for the cleaning of airbrush sprayers (paint jugs, needles and nozzles) and brushes (for natural hairpins, after cleaning the Brush Conditioner (300087181)).
A mixing ratio of 1: 2 - 1: 3 (1 part color: 2 or 3 parts of thinner) is ideal when processing with airbrush sprayers (depending on nozzle used 0.25 - 0.50mm).
Contains: 23 ml
Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner is the perfect choice for thin Tamiya acrylic paints when sprayed with an airbrush or brushbrush brush. The formula within the thinner gives Tamiya acrylic paints the right consistency to mix colors without fading or spotting. This bottle is 23ml.
Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are ideal for brush painting or airbrushing. These lacquers can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood, as well as all current model plastics. The color covers well, flows smoothly and is easy to mix. Before curing, the paint can be washed off with normal water.
When airbrushing, make sure you use one of the following Tamiya thinners: 81020, 81030, 81040, 87077.
- X designated colors have a shiny finish, while XF designated colors are flat.
- The color can be diluted for the airbrush with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner.
- The color can also be diluted for airbrushing with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Tamiya Paint Thinner gives faster drying results and a harder finish.
- For better paint results, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother brush stroke
