With the facelift of the MAN TGX 26.540 in the Euro 5 version 2013, TAMIYA expands its RC truck series with another German 3-axle tractor. The new radiator grill with the large MAN logo is striking. With the 526-mm long and around 3-kg model kit of the 2013 MAN truck, which became the Truck of the Year in 2008, impressive teams can be assembled. The Tamiya truck technology can be found under the front tiltable drivers cab. A powerful electric motor delivers its power to the two rear axles via a switchable 3-speed manual gearbox. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the required stability. Thanks to its high dead weight and a saddle plate, the MAN TGX 26.540 can be coupled with numerous TAMIYA and CARSON MODEL SPORT trailers. With the optional multifunctional unit, almost all sound and light functions of the model can be simulated.
