Excellent for the price, so much better than other overpriced brands but there's a catch.
As I said, It's excellent quality for the price, portals, 2 speed, lockable/unlockable diff individually, also lights, not just basic lights but also headlight bar and brake plus signals turn that actually works. The body is high quality lexan, very thick almost like plastic. All servos are waterproofed, and enough for trail runs but you can easily upgrade the steering servo if you want faster responds, the car got heavier or using bigger wheels. Basic crawler accessories are given, jack, gas cans, roof racks. Good quality beadlock wheels (combination of good plastic and metal beadlock ring, the tire is not bad and adequate for trailing as well. I have not any problem doing forest exploration with this in all stock. Motor is good, ESC is adequate (HW 1060). All of these so much better than other overpriced brands at the same or even more price. But there's 2 catch: 1. spareparts and hop-ups might be an issue. This is a rebrand from Yikong YK4102PRO which only available in Chinese market. Hopefully Absima will be able to keep enough parts and upgrades because upgrades is also parts of the fun and keep a product alive. 2. The radio is a rebrand radio from DumboRC, which is quite ok, 6 channels and it has all of the features needed, but I don't like the fact that the light controllers are combined with the receiver, which means that if you want to change receiver to another radio brand, you need to keep the original receiver connected in tandem to keep the light feats active. It's ok if they provide big size of the receiver box, unfortunately not. So you have to put one of them outside of the receiver box, have chain each channel that controls lights using Y cable (x4). They should have made them separated so the flexibility to upgrade is better or at least..at least give a bigger receiver box so both receivers can sit inside and protected.
All in all, thats it, apart from the catch, i still don't regret getting this one. Good thing that i waited long enough when deciding whether or not to get TRX4, and this came out. Thank you Absima! Thank Der Getriebedoktor to provide good support and fast shipping. Hope you can source the spare parts and upgrades as well.
