CARSON 2-speed distribution box (with speed adjustment and self-locking longitudinal differential)

The 2-speed transmission is designed for use in TAMIYA 2- and 3-axle chassis in conjunction with the 2-speed manual gearbox Compact. It allows you to upgrade your model to all-wheel drive. It is easy to assemble, as existing bores / threads are used here. The transfer case offers two additional shiftable gears and a self-locking longitudinal differential which compensates for the difference in speed between the front and rear axles. In the event of a traction loss, the differential lock is automatically activated / automatically activated and ensures 100% traction.

Note: Due to the use of the 2-speed distribution box, the battery holder must be removed and the 7.2 V Fahrakku placed in the drivers cab.

• The ratios of this 2-speed manual gearbox and the 2-stage shiftable transfer gearbox with torque compensation (1st gear 1: 33.96, 2nd gear 1: 16.98, 3rd gear 1: 11.3, 4th gear 1: 5 , 66) were perfectly matched to each other.
