Product information "upgrade set for a driven steering CVD axle for Tamiya (15)"

We offer a conversion set to convert a tamiya truck axle to a driven steering axle. This axle can be used in Tamiya-Trucks instead of the default not driven steering axles.

The set contains:
-4 support plates
-4 ball bearing for the mounting of the steering knuckles
-4 ball bearings for the axle in the steering knuckles
-2 high quality universal joints, mounted in the steering knuckles. The axle is build with high-quality universal joints and completely ball beared - also the steering knuckles themselves - to ensure an optimal function.

The reduction ratio corresponds to that one of the standard Tamiya truck axles.

We offer these axles in 2 different tracks!

The distance between both steering knuckle sides is about 140mm.

This type can be used for standard Tamiya front rims. A description can be found on our download site. For an optimal check of thruthness we offer a special adapter set (item 30024).

To make more easier for you to mount the axles we offer two mounting sets. (items 30014 or 31016)

This item replaces 20313.

Very nice kit and one of a kind

Great conversion kit and simple to do once you figure it out. Price may be high for some but it works. only thing i see lacking is no clear instructions what you have to, i had to figure it out from a bottom view of a truck that had the conversion done. A link with images of the conversion process would be nice for others who want to do this, im doing a how-to for members in my group so more people will try this great kit from a great business. Geardoctor is the best!

Einfacher Um- bzw. Einbau

Das Set kam sehr schnell in einem gut verpackten Päckchen an. Der Um- bzw. Einbau geht schnell und unkompliziert über die Bühne und ist selbst für ungeübte oder Modellbau Anfänger einfach umsetzbar. Auch wenndie Achse am ende keine Sperre besitzt ist sie eine echte Alternative zu den im Handel erhältlichen angetriebenen Lenkachsen.

Danke, eine Sperre kann man bei der Achse übrigends auch noch nachrüsten lassen.
